A SWEET Odyssey

It all began about 20 years ago! Whilst fundraising for the local scout group with a rented fairy floss machine, it struck me that this was a good little side hustle. So I bought my own machine and started attending small events like school fetes, local small markets and some larger local events.

A humble start

The first 'stall' was a fairy floss machine sitting on its four legs and me, under a beach umbrella! Needless to say, this was problematic in many ways. The umbrella only protected me when the sun was highest; it did not protect me or the machine from rain or wind, both of which made it impossible to spin floss.
